The Lean & Value Stream Mapping module is designed to ensure that Manufacturing Engineers and Supply Chain specialists have the necessary knowledge and essential lean skills so that the manufacturing processes that are implemented are optimised and have the capacity to support new product launch volume ramp up.The Lean & Value Stream Mapping module forms part of the NPLX (New Product Launch Excellence) Programme.

Manufacturing Engineers who are responsible for defining and working out how the product will be assembled on the production line including the review of efficiencies and elimination of waste within the manufacturing process.Supply Chain specialists who are responsible for determining how much and what type of materials and products to hold where in the supply chain.
