This course, ISO/SAE 21434:2021 Cybersecurity Auditor, has been co-developed between Horiba Mira and SMMT Quality Management Ltd. The aim of this course to help auditors evaluate an organisations cybersecurity engineering processes, for the purpose of conducting a CSMS audit.

Description

This highly interactive course provides participants with practical experience of planning, executing, and reporting a cybersecurity process audit using ISO/SAE 21434:2021 and ISO/PAS 5112: 2022 Annex A.

The course content will include:

  • Structuring ISO/SAE 21434 requirements within a cybersecurity process audit model
  • Planning the scope of a cybersecurity process audit and organising audit inputs
  • Using PAS 5112 Annex A to analyse audit inputs
  • Using ISO/SAE 21434 requirements to investigate audit trails
  • Applying a risk-based approach to classification of cybersecurity process audit findings
  • Communicating findings and results from a cybersecurity process audit

 

Who should attend?

This course is suitable for 1st party auditors conducting internal audits and those conducting 2nd party audits within the supply chain.

Prerequisites

Participants must be able to demonstrate prior audit experience or training e.g SMMT QM 2-day IATF 16949:2016 Internal Auditor Training course.

Participants must be able to demonstrate awareness of ISO/SAE 21434:2021 e.g attendance HORIBA MIRA 1-day Introduction to Automotive Cybersecurity course.

Participants are recommended to obtain their own copies of ISO/SAE 21434:2021 and ISO/PAS 5112:2022 for use on the course

Certification

An end of the course there will be an examination for participants to obtain a certificate of competence.
