Description

Across the automotive supply chain, every organisation bears responsibility for the safety and conformity of its products. National and international product integrity requirements must be observed, and the justifiable safety expectations of the public must be met. When products are found to be unsafe or non-conformant, those responsible must take the necessary action.

The Product Safety and Conformity Representative (PSCR) role exists to ensure these responsibilities are managed effectively. To understand the demands of the role, comprehensive information and qualification are essential.

This 2-day VDA QMC qualification provides the knowledge and practical understanding required to perform the daily work of a PSCR in a professional and targeted manner. Through short teach points and practical exercises, delegates develop competence in product integrity, product conformity and Product Compliance Systems.

The programme covers the central themes of product integrity and over-the-air (OTA) software updates, helping delegates understand the requirements facing automotive suppliers and OEMs.

SMMT Quality Management is a licensed VDA QMC training provider, meaning delegates who successfully complete the knowledge test receive a recognised VDA QMC qualification. In addition, a copy of the VDA QMC publication "Product Integrity" will be included in the course fee.
